Corey Taylor Announces New EP Featuring Metallica and KISS Covers, Drops First Single
Earlier this week, we reported that Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor was working on an album of B-sides and covers as a follow-up to his 2020 solo record CMFT. Now, Corey has announced his new EP, and has dropped the first single to boot.
The oh-so-cleverly-named CMFB…Sides EP will feature a bunch of covers including an interesting choice in Metallica covers (“Holier Than Thou”) and a classic-if-lesser-known KISS track (“Got to Choose”). The album’s first single, a cover of John Cafferty & The Brown Beaver Band’s “On The Dark Side,” can be heard below, along with the whole record’s tracklisting and artwork:
