Scott “Wino” Weinrich Says Covid-19 is a “Sinister Depopulation Agenda,” Refuses to Get Vaccine
The Obsessed frontman Scott “Wino” Weinrich has doubled down on his belief that Covid-19 was created as a “depopulation tool” and has stated again that he is unwilling to get the vaccine.
Wino’s extreme claims regarding Covid-19 came to light after he canceled a performance at Psycho Las Vegas this past August because of mask mandates. “I have dug very deep when researching covid-19,” he said at the time, without citing sources, saying that he believes the virus is a “bio-weapon” wielded by a small group of global elites who are weaponizing Covid-19 as a “depopulation tool” to enrich themselves. Separately, he said “weather modification” caused by government radio beams is to blame for various recent natural disasters and referred to “voting fraud” and “socialist unelected swine” in the U.S.
In a new interview with Laughingmonkeymusic, Weinrich elaborated on some of those beliefs. He said:
“I had COVID. So it totally exists; I’m not denying that it exists. And I’m not anti-vaxx either. But we know for a fact… You can go right on the Moderna web site. It’s not a vaccination. It’s not a vaccination by any standards. It is a platform. That’s what they say on their web site. So anybody can take it from there.
“When the government comes out and says there’s no federal response to COVID, what the fuck does that mean? What that means is that CDC protocol prohibits the use of anything that will cure you.
“No matter what anybody says, I know what I know, and it all points to a sinister depopulation agenda. And I don’t give a fuck what anybody thinks. That’s what I believe.”
Despite Wino’s claims, Moderna’s website does, in fact, refer to its Covid-19 vaccine as a “vaccine.” While it does also refer to the mRNA technology used to develop the vaccine as a “technology platform,” the reference is metaphorical, as the science used to create can be used to develop a number of other vaccines more easily. The site says, “Recognizing the broad potential of mRNA science, we set out to create an mRNA technology platform that functions very much like an operating system on a computer. It is designed so that it can plug and play interchangeably with different programs. In our case, the ‘program’ or ‘app’ is our mRNA drug — the unique mRNA sequence that codes for a protein.”
Weinrich went on to re-state his aversion to getting such a vaccine himself. “If I’m gonna stick an injection in my body, I wanna get high,” he laughed.
Weinrich’s friend and tourmate, Eric Wagner of The Skull and Trouble, died in August of Covid-19. He was unvaccinated.
