Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor makes an appearance in a new trailer for Rucker, the upcoming horror film about a trucker who carries out a life-long serial killing spree on the road. Yep, you read that correctly: the film is called Rucker, and it’s about a trucker named Rucker.

Taylor, who has also appeared in the movies Bad Candy and Doctor Who in recent years, has only a small part in the film. But the metal populace has been blessed with his presence in a minute-and-a-half trailer that recently hit the web. His wife, Alicia Dove of the performance troupe Cherry Bombs, is also in the film (I wasn’t able to spot her in the trailer, but I’ll update this post if someone points her out).

The synopsis reads:

“For the past 30 years Rucker the trucker has devoted his life to traveling the road as a mass serial killer. When Rucker picks up unsuspecting Maggie, she makes him the subject of her trucker documentary. But her life takes a dangerous detour when Rucker recruits her to complete his masterpiece: A connect-the-dots roadmap portrait of his ex-wife comprised of the women he’s killed who resemble her.”

Give the trailer a watch below. Rucker will arrive on January 4.

Slipknot recently unveiled a new song, “The Chapeltown Rag,” with an album expected next year. The band’s percussionist, M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, tore his biceps on stage and was forced to miss a show.
