Video: George Lynch Reunites with Dokken on Stage

0

Guitarist George Lynch reunited with his long-estranged bandmates in Dokken for a handful of songs last week in Waukegan, IL, and fan-filmed footage of the event has now found its way online. You can give that a watch below.

Lynch joined Dokken on stage at three prior gigs this year in Pennsylvania, Moline, IL and Virginia.

In April, George Lynch indicated that tour dates for Dokken’s reunited, “classic” line-up — consisting of him, singer Don Dokken, bassist Jeff Pilson, and drummer Mick Brown — have been booked. Specific details have yet to be announced.

Dokken, Lynch, bassist Jeff Pilson, and drummer Mick Brown last toured together for a brief run of Japan in 2016, the first time in 21 those four had performed live together. Brown recently retired from drumming, but his brother Steve, who plays with Lynch in other capacities, would be the obvious replacement.

Four Dokken dates are currently on the books for the remainder of 2021, two of which are confirmed to feature a guest appearance by Lynch:

Dec. 03 – Sycuan Casino – El Cajon, CA
Dec. 04 – The Canyon at Oxnard PACC – Oxnard, CA
Dec. 17 – Whisky A Go Go – West Hollywood, CA (with Lynch)
Dec. 18 – Whisky A Go Go – West Hollywood, CA (with Lynch)

Have a watch of “Kiss of Death,” “When Heaven Comes Down” and “Tooth and Nail” with Lynch below, all from the October 30 gig in Waukegan.
