AngelMaker Drop Another Two-Song EP, Twilight
Say, I’ve been noticing a whole lot more metal bands releasing standalone singles/videos and EPs lately as opposed to full albums, have you? Feels like after 15+ years of talking about breaking out of the album format, it’s finally beginning to happen.
Case in point: AngelMaker, who last month surprise-dropped a new two-song EP, Dawn, have just surprise-dropped another two-song EP, Twilight. As before, they’ve released it along with a music video for one of the tracks, “Vengeance.”
Vocalist Mike Greenwood on the new single:
“Going back the the roots of deathcore we present ‘Vengeance.’ We wrote this song as an homage to the bands and songs that got us into deathcore nearly 15 years ago. It’s got all the old-school vibes; riffs, melody, and brutal breakdowns.”
Give “Vengeance” a watch and a listen below. The other track on the Twilight EP is called “The Great Grey Flame,” and you can stream it here.
