Undeath Announce November Tour Dates
I was unfamiliar with Undeath going into their tour with The Black Dahlia Murder, After the Burial, Carnifex and Rivers of Nihil that just wrapped up. I might’ve checked out a song of theirs when the run was announced, but it didn’t stick.
Now, having seen them perform live — along with so many other people who arrived early to catch every band — I totally get it! They’re very much a part of the current OSDM revival, but whereas so many in that scene borrow most from Entombed, Undeath worship at the altar of Cannibal Corpse. They’ve got a new school air about them as well that makes it feel fresh, and they absolutely rip live. Into it!
Those of you who missed them on the Dahlia tour — or who caught them but left wanting more — will have a few opportunities this November… if you live on the East Coast. The band just announced a series of headline shows, as well as an opening gig for Genocide Pact, and the death metal ruckus at these musical recitals is going to be at an all-time high. Don’t miss them before they blow up!
