Former Death Members to Play Spiritual Healing in Its Entirety at Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Shows

Former Death members James Murphy (ex-Testament, guitar) and Terry Butler (Obituary, bass) will perform the band’s 1990 album, Spiritual Healing, in its entirety for a pair of upcoming shows commemorating the twentieth anniversary of mastermind Chuck Schuldiner’s passing.

Set to take place December 11 and 12 at The Brass Mug in Tampa, Florida, these performance will find Murphy and Butler joined by Matt Harvey (Exhumed, Gruesome, vocals/guitar) and Gus Rios (Gruesome, drums).

Support will come from a Death tribute band, Symbolic, and additional acts TBA.

Schuldiner died on December 13, 2001 of a brain tumor at the age of 34.
