Poppy Postpones Fall Tour But Announces Three Free Album Release Shows
Bad news for Poppy fans: the YouTube-turned-pop-turned-metal-turned-alt-rock star has postponed her fall North American tour, which had been scheduled to kick off later week. She didn’t specify a reason for the cancelation in the short statement she released revealing the news (see below embed), but, ya know, it’s kinda obvious.
There’s some good news for Poppy fans too, though, or at least those who live in the Los Angeles or Nashville areas: the singer has announced a pair of shows at Amoeba Music and Lodge Room Highland Park, both on Wednesday, September 29, and both are free. RSVP for those right here (space is limited). She’ll be playing at The Blue Room in Nashville, TN this Friday, October 1 as well, also free. The shows are in celebration of her new album, Flux, which came out this past Friday, September 24, and they should be quite the party.
Speaking of Flux: jam it below. You won’t be sorry! Poppy continues to evolve and impress.
