Fleshgod Apocalypse Frontman Heads Home After a Month in the Hospital
Fleshgod Apocalypse frontman Francesco Paoli is heading home after spending a month in the hospital.
In August, a rock climbing accident left the guitarist/vocalist with “severe injuries,” including “several fractures.” The band was consequently forced to cancel an appearance at the Road to Luppolo festival in Cremona, Italy. Paoli, who just so happens to turn 37 today (September 22), underwent surgery for his injuries on September 3.
Now the band has offered the following positive update via social media:
“After a month of hospitalization and a successful surgery, Francesco is finally heading home!
“He’s feeling great, full of energy and ready to start rehab.
“Thanks so much everyone for your thoughts and support during these past few weeks.
“We’ll see you all on the road soon enough “
You can view the post, which includes a photograph of Paoli in a wheelchair with a cast around his leg, below.
We’re relieved to hear that Paoli is doing alright and continue to wish him a speedy recovery.
