Mudvayne Release Official Reunion Footage; Mudvayne Withhold Official Audio

Mudvayne have released official pro-shot footage from their first show in twelve years, which took place on September 11 at the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, OH. They’ve got some really great hero shots in here! Visually, this is a terrific commercial for the Mudvayne reunion.

For whatever reason, though, the footage is all scored to the 2002 studio recording of the group’s song “Not Falling” — as opposed to the live audio from that evening’s performance’s of “Not Falling.” I can hypothesize several reasons why this might be the case, some cynical, some less so. For the time being, let’s just leave it at this: I think it’s an odd decision.
