KISS Announce Rescheduled Shows After Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons Covid-19 Cancelations
Kiss have announced rescheduled dates for the shows they had to cancel recently as a result of both guitarist Paul Stanley and bassist Gene Simmons testing positive for Covid-19 in the midst of the band’s current run.
Stanley announced he’d contracted Covid-19 on August 27 after the band’s show in Burgettstown, PA was canceled, at first without explanation, resulting in a string of dates being pulled down. On August 31 he announced he was feeling better and that his symptoms were relatively mild (thanks, in part, to his vaccination), but hours later Simmons announced his own positive diagnosis, triggering more cancelations.
The band has tacked on the rescheduled dates to the end of their current run, which had been slated to wrap up on October 9 in Tampa, FL but will now continue for five extra dates beginning in Atlanta and heading up through the Midwest.
