Chris Barnes Gives “Poser” Kourtney Kardashian a “Thumbs-Down” for Wearing Cannibal Corpse Shirt
Former Cannibal Corpse frontman Chris Barnes has expressed disapproval of Kourtney Kardashian wearing Cannibal Corpse merch.
The reality television star, socialite, and model made waves in the metal world this week when she was spotted sporting a Cannibal Corpse/Eaten Back to Life longsleeve t-shirt while hanging out with her boyfriend, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Barnes piled on to the negative reaction yesterday (September 3), calling Kardashian a “poser.” He also tagged Vogue writer Liana Satenstein in a separate tweet, telling Satenstein “here’s my response” along with a thumbs-down emojia.

This is just the Kardashian family’s latest controversial dalliance with metal fashion, following Kim wearing a Morbid Angel shirt (which resulted in a run on the band’s merch), Kourtney repping Metallica, and one of the Jenner brethren sporting a Megadeth tee.
Barnes was an original member of Cannibal Corpse, and appears on that band’s first four albums. He split with the group in 1995 and current fronts Six Feet Under. He is also a noted conspiracy theorist who last year called the pandemic “a false flag” and in 2018 accused survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida of being “crisis actors.”
