Fleshgod Apocalypse Frontman Undergoing Surgery Following Rock Climbing Accident

Fleshgod Apocalypse frontman Francesco Paoli will undergo surgery today (September 3) after a rock climbing accident last week left the 36-year-old hospitalized with “severe injuries,” including “several fractures.”

Says the band in a statement:

“After several days of successful treatment, Francesco is getting ready for his surgery tomorrow.

“Thanks so much everyone for the insane amount of messages, love and support you guys sent his way. It truly means a lot to him and he literally can’t wait to meet each one of you on the road next year, to give you all this energy back.

“We’ll keep you posted!”

Here’s hoping the surgery goes well and Paoli enjoys a speedy recovery.
