Deftones Announce “Ceremony” Hazy IPA Beer

The whole branded beer thing must be quite lucrative for Deftones, because Sacramento’s finest have now added yet another to their already-robust line-up of suds: the Ceremony Hazy IPA (named after a track on their most recent album, Ohms), once again in collaboration with the Belching Beaver brewery in California.

Previous collaborations between Deftones and Belching Beaver include the Phantom Bride IPAWhite Pony Double Dry Hopped IPASwerve City POG IPA (passion, orange, guava), and Good Morning Beautiful Brown Ale.

The limited edition Ceremony Hazy IPA boasts a 6.5% ABV, is rated at 30 IBUs for bitterness, and comes with the following description on Belching Beaver’s website: “The latest in our collaboration series with Deftones, Ceremony takes an easy-drinking Hazy IPA and pushes the limits of our dry-hopping regiment – doubling down on juicy and tropical hop varietals that merit commemoration. Sit back with a can and enjoy the revelry of the Double Dry-Hopped initiated.”

If you live in California, you can have the Ceremony Hazy IPA delivered to your door by ordering here. If you live elsewhere… maybe ask a friend in California to ship you some? I dunno.

Deftones recently pushed back their previously scheduled tour with Gojira to 2022 after already rescheduling it once from 2020. They also canceled the rest of their remaining 2021 performances at festivals.
