Kowloon Walled City Post “Oxygen Tent,” First New Music Since 2015

Kowloon Walled City always make me think of former MetalSucks writer Gary Suarez, who championed the band a whole bunch during his prolific tenure here (now nine years ago, holy shit, where does time go? yada yada).

Listen to Gary: Kowloon Walled City are a phenomenal band, and their newly released single, “Oxygen Tent,” is the perfect opportunity to jump right in to their own brand of post-metal-meets-post-hardcore if you’ve never checked them out before. It’s also a good excuse for fans to get back onboard, as the band hasn’t released any new music since their 2015 album Grievances. Hopefully the new single’s release means a full album is not far behind it.
