Archspire Shatter Bodies and Brains on New Single “Golden Mouth of Ruin”
Between Burn in Hell’s Disavowal of the Creator God, Internal Bleeding’s “Overthrow Creation,” and now Archspire’s new single, “Golden Mouth of Ruin,” it is turn out to be a most excellent day for capital-B Br00tal music.
“Ruin,” as you’d expect from Archspire, is the most technically-minded of those offerings. That means it won’t just shatter your bones — it’ll shatter your brain, too. You know these dudes have chops just based on the fact that they do a ton of finger-tapping on Serious Musicians Only™ instruments (e.g. a headless guitar, a six-string bass, etc.). Show-offy? Yes. Awesome? Also yes!
“Golden Mouth of Ruin” is the first single from Archspire’s new album, Bleed the Future. That’ll be out October 29. They’ll play a hometown record release show in Vancouver the following night before heading to Europe in November.
Says the band:
