Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil to Headline DrinksGiving
Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil has been announced as the headliner of the inaugural DrinksGiving celebration and free concert in Las Vegas.
The event is set to take place on Wednesday, November 24 — the night before Thanksgiving — which a press released dubs “Blackout Wednesday.”
The press release also promises “soon-to-be announced drink specials, pub crawls, drinking games and more.”
Neil has famously struggled with alcohol addiction in the past. In 2016, he was charged misdemeanor battery for drunkenly assaulting a fan. Just last year, a Cameo video he was hired to make for a fan’s birthday went viral because Neil is very clearly intoxicated in the clip.
In June, Neil ended his first post-pandemic show early, telling the crowd “my voice is gone.” He subsequently cancelled his next show.
These events were made all the more troubling because Mötley Crüe, their management, and even Neil himself made assurances that he’d be in fighting shape by the time the band’s reunion tour, then scheduled for 2020, rolled around. Even with the trek being pushed back again, this time to 2022, Neil’s current condition is disconcerting.
Meanwhile, Neil has four more shows booked for later this month. You can get dates from the below admat.
