Act of Denial (Testament, Soilwork, Septicflesh) Post New Single, “Your Dark Desires” feat. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal

“Your Dark Desires” is the fifth single from Act of Denial’s upcoming album, Negative. We covered one called “Slave” back in April (featuring ex-Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers) but since then I’ve lost track, and for that I apologize: as a bigtime supporter of OG Swedish melodeath, it’s my duty to inform fellow fans of the riffage within.

Act of Denial, as a refresher, were formed by vocalist Voi Cox (Koziak, Victim) & guitarist Luger (Koziak, Benighted-Cro). They are joined by Björn Strid (Soilwork), bassist Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Testament), drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner (Septicflesh) and keyboardist John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra).

“Your Dark Desires,” the latest single, features a guitar solo from Ron ‘Bummblefoot’ Thal (ex-Guns ‘N Roses, Sons of Apollo).

Strid comments: 

“’Your Dark Desires’ is about inner struggle and being able to separate inherited angst and self-inflicted mental pain; once you’ve learned, you can move on and feel much stronger. The song is motivational and about acceptance.”
