Slaughter to Prevail Want You to Shut the F*ck up and Listen to Their New Song “Zavali Ebalo”
Russia’s Slaughter to Prevail have released a new song called “Zavali Ebalo,” which is the phonetic way of spelling the Russian phrase for “shut the fuck up” or “fuck off” (depending on which website you ask). So that’s kinda interesting. Now I know exactly what to shout at people from the car when I’m visiting Brighton Beach.
As for the song, it has the same vintage Slipknot vibe as their last single, “Baba Yaga.” It’s not exactly my glass of vodka, but I don’t think it’s bad, and I understand why kids might dig it. I kinda wonder if this what King 810 think they sound like. Except “Zavali Ebalo” is an actual song, not just a spoken word celebration of machismo with music.
You can check out “Zavali Ebalo” below. Slaughter to Prevail’s new album, Kostolom, comes out August 13 on Sumerian; pre-order it here.
Sadly, Kostolom seems to be Russian for “bone crusher,” not “colostomy.” Bummer.
