Video: George Lynch Reunites With Dokken in Illinois

0

This past Friday, July 9, guitarist George Lynch reunited with Dokken in Moline, Illinois to perform the band’s 1987 hit, “Kiss of Death.” You can view fan-filmed video of the performance below.

This is the second time this summer Lynch has rejoined Dokken onstage, following his appearance with the band at the Live United Live Music Festival in Sunbury, Pennsylvania on June 5. For that show, Lynch joined the band for three songs: “Kiss of Death,” “Tooth and Nail,” and “When Heaven Comes Down.” Footage of that performance can be viewed here.

In April, George Lynch indicated that tour dates for Dokken’s reunited, “classic” line-up — consisting of him, singer Don Dokken, bassist Jeff Pilson, and drummer Mick Brown — have been booked. Specific details have yet to be announced.

Lynch recently came to the realization, after a mere three decades, that the name of his longtime project Lynch Mob is in poor taste. He has since altered the moniker to Electric Freedom.
