MetalSucks’ Least-Sucky Songs of the Week
Here are all the best new metal songs released this week! For some reason, a lot of them are by bands whose name starts with the letter ‘T.’ Hmm…
Bloodjinn, “Goodnight But Not Goodbye” (Remastered)
Okay, so this isn’t a new song per se, but Bloodjinn are a vastly under-appreciated OG metalcore act, and the upcoming reissue of their 2002 album Leave This World Breathing is most definitely worth your time.
Spirit Adrift, “Forge Your Future”
The title track from the band’s upcoming EP is a characteristically bittersweet, druggy, catchy-as-hell hard rock tune.
Times of Grace, “Rescue”
“This is a more uptempo and full on positive song in comparison to the rest of this diverse, heartfelt, painful and deep album,” according to singer Jesse Leach.
Trivium, “In the Court of the Dragon”
We get serious Shogun vibes here!
Twelve Foot Ninja, “Start the Fire”
“Start the Party” is more like it! Also, this song seems like a real “fuck you” to Billy Joel, right?
