Video: Anthrax Discuss Tumultuous, Threatening Times

Anthrax have released the latest episode of their Anthrax 40 for 40 video series, which celebrates the band’s 40th anniversary by taking a look at each individual ‘Thrax album over the course of the coming weeks. That will all lead up to a special career-spanning livestream performance on July 16 (the band’s actual 40th anniversary).

You can watch the new episode below. Topics include the making of 1998’s Volume 8: The Threat is Real, their new label going out of business just as the promotional cycle was starting, touring with Pantera, the Twilight Zone-themed “Inside Out” music video, changing managers, the band’s then-declining popularity, the death of Frankie Bello’s brother, and more.
