New Single From Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell Will Feature Members of Guns N’ Roses and The Dillinger Escape Plan

Following several weeks of rumors, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell has confirmed that his upcoming solo single will feature Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan along with Greg Puciato and Gil Sharone, former vocalist and drummer, respectively, for The Dillinger Escape Plan (R.I.P.).

Cantrell confirmed the news after photos from a video shoot leaked online.

We still don’t know what the song is called or when it will be released, but if they shot a music video, expect it to drop sooner rather than later.

Cantrell’s forthcoming solo album will be his first Degradation Trip in 2002.

This is Cantrell and McKagan’s second collaboration in nine months: last fall, they covered “A Satisfied Mind” in honor of Jimmy Carter’s 96th birthday.
