The Sword Announce Summer Headline Shows
The Sword, who are set to open for Primus this summer, have announced a series of their own headline shows during off-dates for that tour.
The Primus tour will see the band play two sets every night: one of originals, and one consisting of them covering Rush’s 1977 classic, A Farewell to Kings, in its entirety. Originally scheduled for spring 2020, the tour pays homage to late drummer Neil Peart (who died earlier that year from brain cancer).
Wolfmother are also opening the Primus tour, but The Sword’s newly announced round of headline dates don’t include that band, with Wizard Rifle joining instead on a handful of them.
