Bad Wolves Share First Preview of Music with New Singer
A week after announcing that their new vocalist is Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz, former guitarist for The Acacia Strain, Bad Wolves have shared a brief preview of the music they’ve been working on with him since parting ways with Tommy Vext.
The snippet comes at the end of a behind-the-scenes video that offers a peek into the making of the band’s next album, Dear Monsters. The video features the band members — and DL himself — talking about how their union came to be and what’s in store for the future. After drummer and co-founder John Boecklin (ex-DevilDriver) describes the chemistry between the band and DL as immediate, a new song — which had been playing quietly in the background throughout — comes to the forefront, and yup, that’s definitely DL singing! He sounds good, as does the Doc Coyle whammy pedal riff underneath it… excited to hear this song in full when it’s ready to be released.
The band has said they expect Dear Monsters to come out this year. Stay tuned for that.
