Judas Priest Announce Massive 50th Anniversary Tour for Fall 2021

Judas Priest were amongst those bands whose tour plans were torpedoed by the pandemic, having announced a massive 50th anniversary run right before shit started getting truly scary in February of 2020 (the shows were to take place in September and October of that year).

With vaccination rates climbing ever higher and Covid-19 largely in the rearview in the U.S., Priest have finally announced rescheduled dates for that trek, now set for September, October and November of this year. The silver lining is that a whole bunch of new dates have been added, too, ensuring more folks get to take in the spectacle (press copy promises that the shows “will feature a variety of special effects, which will undoubtedly enhance the might of Priest’s metal.”) Sabaton have once again been retained for opening duties, and they are always a good time.

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale beginning this Friday, June 11, at 10am local time via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the previously announced tour dates are available now.
