Crosses ††† (Deftones, Far) Were in the Studio in May

With a new Deftones album out last year, frontman Chino Moreno has seemingly shifted his attention to Crosses †††, his synth-rock outfit with Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and bassist/producer Chuck Doom.

After a single photo of Moreno and Lopez in the studio made the rounds back in March, the group has now posted a more extensive set detailing their recording activities. Guitarist Jono Evans has also been present for the sessions while Doom does not appear to have been involved (at least in person on the day these photos were taken, and unless he was the one taking the photos).

Crosses have released three EPs and one full-length, the latter arriving back in 2014. They released a standalone cover of “The Beginning of the End” by ’90s electropop band Cause & Effect last year.
