Psychosexual’s New Song is “Torture”
Pyschosexual, the new-but-not-new project from former Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer, have released a new song called “The Torture Never Stops.” And in the words of the all-wise Lionel Hutz (RIP), “Mr. Simpson, this is the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since my suit against the film The Neverending Story.”
Which is to say, yeah, the song blows. It might even be considered “torture.”
But it’s not even three-and-a-half minutes long. That’s hardly torture that “never stops.” In fact, I’d argue it makes Spencer downright lazy. Surely, he could have figured out a way to keep this drek going for at least four of five full minutes, no?
Spencer, seemingly anticipating the media having fun at his expense, says the following of the track:
“‘The Torture Never Stops’ is a bit of a heavier track. It’s decent for releasing hate while working out at the gym. Or for the haters, it’s a perfect title and it’s self-descriptive! Enjoy!”
It’s only decent for releasing hate while working out at the gym. It’s not good or even great for it. Don’t be disappointed if you go to the gym to release hate and have only a decent experience.

Pyschosexual’s debut full-length, Unholy Hymns for the Children, is tentatively due for release in the fall via whichever label’s unfortunate representative loses this year’s Hunger Games.
