… wait, no. The year is 2021 and Voodoo Glow Skulls have a new song featuring a guest spot from Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe. Your eyes do not deceive you and your bed didn’t turn into a time machine last night. “The Walking Dread” features a growled bridge section from the Lamb of God screamer, and even has some double bass and a metal-inspired guitar solo amongst what you might expect from the group. All in all, it’s not bad!
“The Walking Dread,” which might or not refer to Randy’s current hairstyle, appears on the Glow Skulls’ new album Livin’ The Apocalypse, which is out now. Give it a spin below.
