Video: Poppy Performs New Song “Say Cheese” at WWE NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver

WWE’s NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver event had a pair of special metal guests over its two-night broadcast last night (April 8) and the night before, with both Nita Strauss and Poppy showing off their talents live on air to the wrestling audience at large.

Nita’s came on the first night, when she performed the introductory national anthem. And now those of us who didn’t watch live can see Poppy’s, which saw the metal crossover star perform a brand new song, “Say Cheese,” inside the squared circle.

You can watch approximately one minute of “Say Cheese” below. I’m not clear on whether this was the entire length of the performance or WWE just truncated it for online posting.

This is Poppy’s umpteenth appearance with WWE NXT since last year. She debuted a new song, “Eat,” at the Grammy Awards last month.

Poppy will broadcast her very own livestream concert on April 24, which she has said will mark the end of the I Disagree era. Does that mean a new album is coming soon? Especially with two new songs out in the world now?
