Tool’s Maynard James Keenan Shows Off His Ducks in New Short Film, An Easter Story

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has released a short film, which he shot and narrated himself, called An Easter Story.

The seven-minute clip ruminates on the recent passage of Easter and the Vernal Equinox (start of spring) and the historical significance of those events, tied in with the behavior of the ducks Maynard raises on his own farm in Arizona.

I went into watching it expecting something cringe, but I ended up enjoying it; sorry to get all corny on you, but we are all quite disconnected from the natural world we inhabit, and sometimes it’s important to be reminded of that as well as how we fit into the larger picture.
