Korn’s Head On Ex-Drummer David Silveria: “I Miss That Guy”

David Silveria, who split from Korn in 2006, has had a rocky relationship with his ex-bandmates, to say the least. The drummer once said that Jonathan Davis’ wife put the singer’s testicles in a jar, has called Fieldy “a cowardly little bitch” and a “judgmental self-righteous idiot”, and said of the band’s recent material that it doesn’t “stand up to our first three records” and that their next album [in 2015] “will be the same crap they have been putting out for years.” All this despite Silveria’s own hilariously-amateurish post-Korn band, Core 10, becoming the laughingstock of the metalsphere. The two parties have even been embroiled in a lawsuit!

Still, Korn guitarist Head says he misses the guy. What a heart!

Speaking on Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn’s No Fuckin’ Regrets podcast, Head explained that he misses his old pal despite all the negativity:

“I miss that guy. I haven’t seen him in forever. I know there’s been some negative things said in the press, whatever, back and forth. But I wish nothing but the best for him and his family. I see ’em online and they look like amazing people.”

How about that for a true Christian spirit? Silveria revealed that he and Head have spoken directly in recent times and claims he apologized to the guitarist about the negative things he said in the past, so perhaps those two have a particular bond.
