King Crimson’s Robert Fripp & Toyah Willcox Cover Mötley Crüe’s “Girls, Girls, Girls”
King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and his wife, the actress and singer Toyah Willcox, have unveiled the latest entry in their “Sunday Lunch” series of cover videos that have captured the internet’s attention in recent weeks.
Their newest effort finds the pair tackling Mötley Crüe’s 1987 hit, “Girls, Girls, Girls.” The clip sees Wilcox, making the atypically modest fashion choice (by these videos’ standards) of taping her nipples, hitting tennis balls into the distance for a reason we can’t quite figure out.
Previous entries in Fripp and Wilcox’s “Sunday Lunch” series include:
Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman” (how they wrote it)
Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell”
Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle”
Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll”
Alice Cooper’s “Poison”
Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” (with special guest snake)
Brittney Spears’ “Toxic”
