Stream Protest the Hero Frontman Rody Walker’s New Solo Album, Sharks Fly

0

Sharks Fly, the debut solo EP from Protest the Hero frontman Rody Walker — which finds him handling (or programming) all instruments in addition to vocals — landed on streaming services last Friday, February 26.

Since announcing the EP just a couple of weeks ago Rody has been coy on promoting it, but he did offer a few quick details via Twitter recently, sharing:

“A little more info about the EP I’m releasing next week. It’s three songs, they’re simple, quick, and hopefully fun.

“I played (or programed) everything on them. Old Derya Nagle [of The Safety Fire] mixed them so they sound slick as a pigs dick.

They also somehow walk a line of being silly and deeply personal. It’s peculiar.”

You can have a listen to the outing below or buy it on Bandcamp.

Protest the Hero’s most recent album, The Palimpsest, came out in June of 2020; stream it on Bandcamp as well.
