New Gojira Album Coming This Spring; Song Titles Revealed

Yesterday, Gojira released a mysterious video with a bunch of symbols and nothing else, which we all hoped meant they were teasing a new album.

Well. They were.

A newly-added section of the band’s website, https://www.gojira-music.com/430, features all the symbols from yesterday’s video — and if you click on those symbols, you get what Lambgoat surmises are song titles:

02. “Amazonia”
03. “Another World”
04. “Hold On!”
05. “New Found”
06. “Fortitude”
07. “The Chant”
08. “Sphinx”
09. “Into the Storm”
10. “The Trails”
11. “Grind”

Furthermore, fans are interpreting the fact that the URL for this page ends in the number “430” to mean that the new album will be released on Friday, April 30. That’s pretty soon!

We’ll let you know when this is all officially official. Assuming it’s for really real, this will be Gojira’s first album since Magma in 2016.

Gojira released a standalone single, “Another World,” this past August, and a previously-unreleased track from 2003, “Inferno,” in October.
