Evan Rachel Wood Makes New Allegations Against Marilyn Manson and His Wife
Evan Rachel Wood has elaborated on her recent allegations that Marilyn Manson abused her during their relationship. Furthermore, she claims that Manson’s wife, photographer Lindsay Usich, once attempted to release nude photos taken of her while she was underage and inebriated in order to keep her silent.
This past Monday, February 1, the Westworld star wrote a post on Instagram in which she said that Manson (born Brian Warner), her former fiancé, “horrifically abused me for years.” While she has implied in the past that Manson abused her, this was the first time she explicitly named the shock rocker. Since then, there’s been a deluge of similar accusations from other women.
Since then, Wood has further detailed Manson’s treatment of her via a series of Instagram stories.
In some, Wood claims that Manson frequently utilized anti-Semitic and racist language:
“I was called a ‘jew’ in a derogatory manner. He would draw swastikas over my bedside table when he was mad at me. I heard the ‘n’ word over and over. Everyone around him was expected to laugh and join in. If you did not or (god forbid) called him out, you were singled out and abused more. I have never been more scared in my life.
“My mother is Jewish and I was raised with the religion. Because she was converted and wasnt of Jewish decent he would say things like, ‘thats better’ because I wasnt ‘blood jewish.’”
In others, Wood responds to allegations that she and Manson were into BDSM, and that his behavior was therefore acceptable:
“Brian and I never had a ‘BDSM’ relationship. We didnt even have ‘kinky’ sex. We weren’t having sexual intercourse when i was being tortured, before or after. I thought I was going to die the entire time.”
In yet another post, People reports, Wood “shared a photo of two of Manson’s tattoos which she suggests are swastikas and a Nazi-inspired symbol of a skull-and-crossbones.” Manson Manson “did not have these tattoos when we started dating,” she says.
Wood has also now alleged that on December 19, 2020, she filed a police report after becoming aware that Manson’s wife Usich and someone named Leslee Lane were “conspiring to release photos of me when I was UNDERAGE, after being given large amounts of drugs and alcohol, after Brian performed on Halloween in Las Vegas, to ‘ruin my career’ and ‘shut me up.’”

Yesterday, Tony Ciulla, who has managed Marilyn Manson for the past 25 years, dropped his client in light of the wave of abuse allegations.
Manson has previously called the accusations against him “horrible distortions of reality.” But the fallout has already been tremendous, with the singer being dropped by his label, Loma Vista, and his agency, CAA. He was also fired from television roles on the programs American Gods and Creepshow.
Two former Manson collaborators, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland and Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor, have both spoken out against the shock rocker. Borland called Manson “a bad fucking guy” and asserted that his victims “are speaking the truth,” while Reznor said that he has “been vocal over the years about my dislike of Manson as a person and cut ties with him nearly 25 years ago.” He also denied, not for the first time, a story from Manson’s memoir, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, in which the singer claims that he and Reznor plied two women with alcohol and then took advantage of them once they were heavily inebriated.
Otep frontwoman Otep Shamaya shared an unsettling story about Manson this morning, as did singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers.
Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife and manager, addressed calls to comment on Manson by saying her relationship with him was strictly business and that she wasn’t privy to his personal life.
On Wednesday, February 3, police reportedly “swarmed” Manson’s home after a friend contacted authorities to say they couldn’t reach the singer and were concerned for his well-being. Although Manson never emerged from his house, a rep for the singer told police he was “fine.”
California State Senator Susan Rubio has requested that the FBI investigate Manson. There has been no word as to whether or not her request has been granted.
