Video: Ghost’s Tobias Forge Teams up With The Hellacopters for Rolling Stones Cover

Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge — sometimes known as Papa Emeritus whatever Roman numeral we’re up to now — recently appeared on the Swedish gameshow På Spåret… but not as a contestant: he, along with members of The Hellacopters, performed a rather Ghost-ly cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil.”

For understandable reasons, this is by no means the first time a prominent metal musician has covered this particular Rolling Stones classic: previous covers include ones by Motörhead, Ozzy, Guns N’ Roses, and Jane’s Addiction.

Ghost recently promised that the band “are working diligently on several big things for next year” and that news pertaining to those efforts will be unveiled in the coming months. You can read all about that here.
