Loss Becomes (Tiger Flowers, Chef Brian Tsao, Wings Denied) Debut First Single, “Focus”

Tiger Flowers and Wings Denied are two of our favorite bands to come out of the NYC and D.C. metal scenes in recent years, so it’s no surprise that members of those bands have teamed up to make something equally as awesome, yet entirely different: a new outfit called Loss Becomes.

Brian Tsao, metal chef extraordinaire and talented guitarist in his own right, joins Thracian vocalist Anthony Copozzi to round out the lineup of Will Gomez on bass and Alec Kossoff on drums. The result is straight beatdown hardcore riffs with a Throwdownian sense of groove that’s good for a mosh, headbang, bob, shimmy or wherever the spirit takes you (I’m saying it’s good).

Copozzi offers of the band’s first single:

“‘Focus’ is about finding the truth within a relationship. Who are truly your friends? Who has your back? How badly do you need or want them in your life?”

Loss Becomes promise a full-length album next year. Meanwhile you can catch their ‘live’ debut at the December edition of Metal Injection’s Slay at Home Fest on December 18.
