Wolf King Unleash Gnarly New Single, “Sanctuary”

Wolf King are always good for some truly nasty music — their 2018 album, Loyal to the Soil, was an absolute ripper that put the band firmly on the map of up-and-comers in the metal world at large — and now the Bay Area natives have returned with a new album announcement and its first single.

As usual, the band’s outlook is decidedly bleak:

“The Path of Wrath tells of a collective journey through the turmoils and tribulations of life. Filmed during our last tour in March with Vale of Pnath, Sanctuary takes on the perspective of realizing that the only way to escape this wretched world is through death’s cold hands. We’re born without choice, forced to endure suffering, and find clarity through lifelessness.”

Like I said, a ray of sunshine.
