The Black Dahlia Murder Announces “Yule ‘Em All: A Holiday Variety Extravaganza” Livestream
The Black Dahlia Murder released one of the year’s best death metal albums, Verminous, in April (read our review)… less than a month after the pandemic forced everyone to go into lockdown, thus making live concerts a thing of the past (at least for the time being). That means the band never even really got to play their tasty new material live. BUMMER!
But that will change, presumably, with the band’s just-announced “Yule ‘Em All: A Holiday Variety Extravaganza” livestream, which will feature “live performances, special guests and more,” according to a press release.
The event is set for Friday, December 18th at 4PM PST/7PM EST, and will be available to stream for 48 hours after it initially airs, as is de rigeur with these things (’cause not everyone can be near a computer at the right time).
Says frontman Trevor Strnad of the event:
“We in The Black Dahlia Murder have been hard at work assembling what will surely be the most major holiday event since Tickle Me Elmo dropped. Live music from albums new and old, skits, cartoons, Ham Sanitizer… it’s all here and waiting for your eager bloodshot eyeballs to blissfully consume! Clear your calendars for Dec 18!!! You won’t want to miss it!”
The Black Dahlia Murder have never delivered anything but complete dopeness — I think I’ve seen them live at least a dozen times since the tour cycle for 2005’s Miasma — and I see no reason to believe this will be any different. So miss this at your own peril.
Tickets are just ten bucks; there’s also a ticket + exclusive merch bundle available for $30. You can buy either of those here.
