Hypocrisy’s Peter Tägtgren Leaves Lindemann
Lindemann has somehow not been considered a solo project up until now, even though of its two members, Rammstein’s Till Lindemann and Hypocrisy’s Peter Tägtgren, only one got to have his name also be the name of the band. I was honestly never entirely sure why Tägtgren went along with this other than that Lindemann is much, much, much more famous than he is.
In any case, it would appear that Lindemann is now, for all intents and purposes, a Till Lindemann solo project: the Rammstein and Hypocrisy frontmen have ended their collaboration on Lindemann, as a social media statement tells us twice in the first two sentences:
Till Lindemann and Peter Tägtgren end their collaboration on ‘Lindemann’!
“As Till Lindemann and Peter Tägtgren confirm today, the two artists have ended their collaboration on the project ‘Lindemann.’
“Both will be pursuing their own plans in the future.
“Lindemann and Tägtgren are currently working on a final joint release, a live DVD of their show in Moscow 2020, which will be released in spring 2021.
“Till Lindemann will be active under the name ‘Lindemann’ within a new set up in the future.”
It would be pretty funny if Lindemann would not be active under the name “Lindemann” anymore.
“Till Lindemann and Peter Tägtgren have ended their collaboration on Lindemann. As a result, the project will now be known as ‘Shlomovitz.’”
Lindemann’s sophomore album, F&M, was released last year. You can stream it below.
