Video: Bride Walks Down the Aisle to Lamb of God

You think you’re a Lamb of God fan? You ain’t got nothing on Amanda Lowther. Not only did Amanda name her son Adler — Willie and Chris — but when she got married recently, she walked down the aisle to a soundtrack of the Ashes of the Wake cut “Remorse is for the Dead.” Which means she’s a massive Lamb of God fan AND she has a sense of humor.

Amanda, awesome though she may be, is by no means the first metal bride we’ve encountered recently. In 2013, this couple shredded down the aisle; that same year, another couple had their post-marriage introduction set to Slayer. The following year, these newlyweds did their first dance as married couple to Pantera.

On top of that, there was the bride who got members of Cattle Decapitation and The Locust to congratulate her metalhead husband on the big day, the now-infamous Slayer wedding mosh pit and System of a Down wedding mosh pit, the couple that cut their cake to Hatebreed, and the couple that hired a powerviolence band to play their reception.

And then, of course, there was Frank Mullen’s wedding, where the former Suffocation frontman serenaded his loved ones with “Entrails of You.”

Lamb of God, meanwhile, released the year’s most romantic album in June.
