Pallbearer Stream New Song “The Quicksand of Existing”

Pallbearer have released “The Quicksand of Existing,” the third single (after the title track and “Rite of Passage”) from their forthcoming album, Forgotten Days. The title suggests a song that’s a total bummer, but it’s actually only kind of a bummer; there’s definitely a melancholy undertone to the whole thing, but there are also flourishes that feel more militaristic. Maybe that contrast is meant to represent the quicksand of, y’know. Hm. Interesting.
