Mastodon Post Trippy CGI Video for “Fallen Torches”

Mastodon have posted a video for “Fallen Torches,” the new song, initially put out in July, that appears on the band’s recently-released Medium Rarities collection of B-sides and previously unheard material. Scott Kelly of Neurosis lends vocals to the tune. You can order the collection here.

Another new song, “Rufus Lives,” was written specifically for the Bill & Ted 3 soundtrack and is not included on the album.

Mastodon vocalist Troy Sanders recently said the band are “super-close” to being ready to record their next album, while drummer Brann Dailor explained that they’d prefer not to release it until the pandemic is over. Guitarist Bill Kelliher warned fans to expect a marked shift in sound this time around.
