Napalm Death’s New Song Is So Good It’s “Amoral”
We’re less than a month away from the release of Napalm Death’s new album, Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism. Because I’m so important, I’ve heard the album, and lemme tell you, it does not disappoint. If you haven’t pre-ordered this shit yet, well, you oughta!
Lest you need further convincing than just my unassailable word, however, I recommend you check out the new single from the record, “Amoral.” It’s much more in the “noise-rock territory” frontman Barney Greenway described last month than the first single, “Backlash Just Because.” But don’t worry… it’s still filthy and angry and all things Napalm Death. And as a bonus, it arrives with a Michael Panduro-directed video that seems like a dark, evil version of a-ha’s famous “Take On Me” video. That comparison might seem odd, but watch the clip for just a few seconds and you’ll see what I mean.
Check out “Amoral” below. Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism is out September 18 on Century Media.
And BTW, it just so happens that Barney Greenway was our guest on this week’s episode of The MetalSucks Podcast! Listen here.
