Someone Made a Documentary About Chris Holmes and I Could Not Be More Excited About It

Former W.A.S.P. guitarist and human car wreck Chris Holmes has been a perpetual source of schadenfreudian fascination for us here at MetalSucks. So you can imagine how stoked we are to learn that someone has made a documentary about the guitarist, Mean Man: The Story of Chris Holmes. Even more so because the doc was directed by the same people who made Holmes’ hilarious inept video for “Let It Roar.” Like, with all due respect to Bill & Ted Face the Music, this may be THE heavy metal cinematic comedy event of the year.

You can check out a trailer for Mean Man below. Cleopatra Entertainment is reportedly planning to give the documentary a release in various formats before the end of 2020, presumably so it qualifies for the Oscars.
