Venom Prison Cover Stampin’ Ground’s “Officer Down”

Venom Prison have recorded and released a cover of Stampin’ Ground’s 2000 song “Officer Down” in light of recent events. Explains the band:

“In a climate where abuse of power, systematic racism and the force of police brutality continue to take lives, we felt it was the perfect time to put together a classic favourite of the band. Here is our cover of Stampin’ Ground’s ‘Officer Down.'”

Venom Prison will release Primeval, which features re-recorded versions of their first two EPs and two brand new tracks, via Prosthetic Records on October 9; pre-order here. The cover of “Officer Down” was recorded last month and will not be included on Primeval.
