Pallbearer Announce New Album, Release First Single
The Best Goddamn Metal Video I’ve Ever Seen Since About Thirty Minutes Ago has arrived courtesy of Pallbearer’s new single, “Forgotten Days.” The clip, which I’m reasonably confident was at least partially-inspired by both the Tarkovsky and Soderbergh versions of Solaris, “tells the story of an unfortunate traveler who journeys too far, and becomes lost in the depths of both inner, and outer, space,” according to singer/guitar player Brett Campbell. It’s appropriately trippy… and it doesn’t hurt, of course, that it’s accompanied by some absolutely crushing doom riffage.
“Forgotten Days” is the opening track and first single and the title track from Pallbearer’s fourth album, which will be out October 23. You can check it out below:
