Beavis and Butt-Head Are Returning… Again!

FINALLY, 2020 gets some good news! From Deadline:

“‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ are back, moving from Gen X to Gen Z and from MTV to Comedy Central. An expansive deal Comedy Central has inked with ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ creator Mike Judge and 3 Arts Entertainment calls for a reimagined version of MTV’s seminal, Gen X-defining adult animated sitcom, which has received a two-season order, as well as additional spin-offs and specials. Under the pact, Judge will write, produce and provide voice-over for both famous characters.”

If you followed the B&B character Daria over to her own show, you might also be excited to learn that that spin-off is getting its own spin-off, Jodie.

ANYWAY, like I said, this is good news. Comedy Central really is a better modern day home for this dynamic duo. Does it mean they’ll be “critiquing” stand-up comedy now? Episodes of The Daily Show and South Park? I have no idea! But I do know this:

I cannot wait to see how Beavis and Butt-Head react to the pandemic.
