Aaron Lewis Says He Is “Working on New Staind Sh*t”

Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t possibly get any worse, Aaron Lewis goes ahead and reveals that the reunited Staind are working on new music. FML.

Lewis revealed the news while talking to fellow crime against the sense of sound, Sully Erna (Godsmack), on the latter’s Hometown Sessions Internet show: “I’m working on new Staind shit… We’re toying around with some creativity.”

I could feasibly spend an hour dissecting the sentence “We’re toying around with some creativity,” but I wouldn’t wanna spend more brain power on something dumb Aaron Lewis said than Aaron Lewis has ever spent on anything ever.

Staind’s last album was a self-titled release that came out in 2011. There’s no word on when this next Staind offering might be released, so there’s still hope that it will never be released.

In the same interview, Lewis also said that he’s working on a new solo album that’s “not gonna be anything except an acoustic guitar and vocals.” Oh, if only that album was not gonna be anything, period!
